CABIN SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR (CAPE TOWN)
What it is: Keep records of cabin crew members, Help the crew get ready, like with their clothes, hygiene, and so on, Help with the administration of updating manuals and other documents when needed, Help with keeping track of Flight Reports and Attendance Registers, Work with Human Resources to make sure that new cabin crew members get the right information and that it is shared and distributed, Help new employees get started, Make sure that all new cabin crew members are integrated into all departments. This includes giving them uniforms, parking spaces, iPads, training materials, and scheduling needs. Making copies of licenses, medical records, and certificates for crew members; Plan and put together events like the Wings Parade; Keeping all records of discipline; Daily processing of leave requests; Get in touch
Requirements
- Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
- Relevant tertiary education (Advantageous);
- 1-3 years Administration experience (Essential);
- Previous operations experience (Beneficial);
- Willingness to work overtime when required;
- Familiarity with the aviation industry's structure, including the specific operational context of cabin services and how they support broader airline functions;
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards governing cabin crew operations;
- Proficiency in administrative practices essential for document management, record-keeping, and report preparation, with an emphasis on meticulous documentation;
- Understanding of customer service principles tailored to aviation, balancing the needs of internal stakeholders (cabin crew relations) with external customer expectations;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Strong administrative skills;
- Planning and organizational skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external customers;
- Good communication skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Immaculate time keeping;
- Ability to utilize digital tools for managing communications, documentation, and scheduling.
